I love weddings!
One of the perks during my career as a pastor and university chaplain has been officiating weddings – for friends, family, former students and now the children of friends. I have done weddings in Oregon, California, Florida and New York, and have enjoyed every one.
Last year I received my certification to officiate in Virginia and have done a few so far. And this year we are offering River Dell as a venue for small weddings and elopements! We have a beautiful location on the river, and can do a ceremony in various places under our moveable arbor, on our expansive deck, or inside in front of our fireplace.
Linda is a retired caterer who still does a lot of cooking for friends and family. One thing she never stopped doing is wedding cakes; she has often done cakes for weddings at which I officiated. And she can also do hors d’oeuvres, rehearsal dinners, wedding dinners and post-wedding brunches for up to ten people in our elegant dining room.
