We have had a great summer so far here in the Valley. There has been an abundance of sunshine and average (or maybe slightly below average) temperatures. Enough rain has fallen to keep things verdant and the river flowing.
It’s so quiet here in the evenings – all you can hear are the voices of nature. Daytime on weekends brings the happy sounds of people enjoying floating or paddling on the gentle Shenandoah. It’s delightful.
July was our best month so far at River Dell. We’ve welcomed guests and visitors from all over, and enjoyed them all.

And, we added a new family member: Stella the Corgi puppy! She joins Kubi and Howard in welcoming everyone. They all love guests, but (a reminder) – they do not go in the B & B suite.
We would love to have you in our B & B suite! We have a lot of openings for late summer and fall, probably the best time to enjoy the river, the mountains and everything the Shenandoah Valley has to offer. Come visit!
